Locally Owned. Community Focused. Compassionately Driven.
Founded by Dr. Leesa Rorstrom, who brings over a decade of veterinary experience, Paw Partners Veterinary Clinic was built out of a deep compassion for animals—and a clear understanding of the financial challenges many pet owners face.
We proudly offer full-service veterinary care tailored to your pet’s unique needs. From wellness visits and diagnostics to surgery and chronic disease management, our goal is simple: to provide high-quality, personalized care that supports both pets and the people who love them.
As a locally owned practice, Paw Partners Veterinary Clinic operates without the restrictions and overhead of corporate ownership. Unlike many veterinary chains—some of which disguise their corporate backing with local-sounding names—we make decisions at the clinic level, with your pet’s health as our top priority.
This independence allows us to:
You are our business and also our neighbor. At Paw Partners, we’re more than just a veterinary clinic—we’re part of the same community you call home. Every pet we treat is a valued family member, and every client we serve is a neighbor we care about.
At Paw Partners, we view our relationship with clients as a true partnership in their pet’s health.
We promise to:
You’ll never be pushed into unnecessary treatments or diagnostics. We’ll always walk you through your options—starting with the most practical and least costly—while escalating care only as needed.
We're excited to be your partner in your pet’s lifelong health. And we’re proud to do it with no corporate markup, no impersonal policies, and no hidden agendas—just honest, compassionate care.
Our Mission and Values: To provide compassionate veterinary care to every pet. We are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of animals through wellness healthcare, expert medical treatment, and open communication with clients. We focus on a spectrum of care philosophy, balancing the needs and goals of both pet and owner. Our team is committed to fostering lasting relationships with clients, and delivering service with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.
Our Vision: To be the leading veterinary clinic known for exceptional client satisfaction, where pets receive compassionate, high-quality care, and a place where employees are proud to work and grow professionally in a supportive and rewarding environment.
About Dr. Leesa Rorstrom:
Dr. Leesa Rorstrom is a passionate veterinarian and strong believer in the human-animal bond—something she experienced firsthand at just five years old with her beloved cat, Muffin. After noticing that Muffin’s paw seemed painful, a trip to the veterinarian revealed something far more serious: cancer. Muffin underwent a life-saving leg amputation, and the very next day, climbed a bunk bed ladder on three legs to reach Leesa—solidifying a bond that would last another 13 years and spark a lifelong dedication to veterinary medicine.
Born and raised in Central Florida, Dr. Rorstrom later moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University, where she earned her degree in Biochemistry. She then worked for two years at the University of Kansas Medical Center in an oncology diagnostic laboratory, honing her attention to detail, ethical standards, and commitment to quality patient care.
Dr. Rorstrom earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She has a special interest in feline internal medicine and geriatric care and is AAFP Certified Cat Friendly, using stress-reducing methods to help ensure a calm, positive experience for every feline patient.
As the owner of Paw Partners Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Rorstrom continues to honor the human-animal bond by providing high-quality care at an accessible price. She believes that veterinary medicine should be tailored to each pet’s needs and every family’s budget—a philosophy reflected in her spectrum of care approach and flexible payment options.
“I would do this for free, but I have to charge the client to keep the doors open.” – Dr. Rorstrom
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rorstrom is a lifelong learner, committed to staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. She enjoys photography, volunteering with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) groups, reading mystery novels, and cheering on both the Arizona Diamondbacks and Purdue Basketball.
At Paw Partners Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Rorstrom brings together value and veterinary excellence—delivering care that truly puts pets and their people first.
